1. Who we are

FluxoCut ("we", "us") is an AI-assisted video editing tool — part of the FluxoPlugins product family — that helps you caption and auto-edit videos. By using fluxocut.com or the FluxoCut app you agree to these terms.

2. Your content is yours

You keep 100% ownership of the videos you edit and export with FluxoCut.
You grant us only the minimal technical permission needed to operate features you use (e.g. sending audio for transcription when you request captions). We claim no license over your content beyond that, and we do not use it to train AI models.
You're responsible for having the rights to the footage you edit.

3. Metering, fair use and the free plan

Usage is metered per account: caption (transcription) seconds, Auto Trim footage seconds and AI usage.
The Free plan's caption minutes are a lifetimeallowance (they don't reset monthly). "Feel It" is a one-time purchase available once per account. The Week Pass lasts 7 days from purchase and does not renew. Monthly plans reset their allowances each billing window.
Add-on packs (e.g. Auto Trim minutes) are one-time purchases whose balance never expires and is consumed only after your plan allowance.
Plans include a device limit. You can review and log out devices in Account → Devices; signing in past the limit asks you to free a seat first.
Caption seconds are counted by the duration of the audio you submit for transcription — this mirrors how our speech-recognition providers bill us. If a transcription comes back incomplete or imperfect (speech recognition is not exact — see §6), the submitted duration still counts; the editor lets you split a layer and regenerate just the affected part, which meters only that part.
Exports on the free plan carry a FluxoCut watermark; paid plans export clean.
When a paid plan ends(a pass expires or a subscription's paid period runs out), its remaining allowances end with it. Expiry does notgrant a fresh free-tier allowance — the Free plan's lifetime taste is a one-time, first-time allowance, not a recurring fallback. Purchased add-on packs survive, and your projects and finished exports are never affected.
Creating multiple accounts, automating requests, or otherwise gaming the meters is a violation and may lead to suspension. The free tier exists for real humans trying the product.

4. Purchases, plan changes and cancellation

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Prices are shown in INR before you pay.
One-time purchases(Feel It, the Week Pass, and the "pay once" 30-day options on Editor / Editor Pro) never auto-renew. Feel It is available once per account.
Monthly and Yearly plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. Yearly is billed at ten times the monthly price (two months free).
Buying a plan while another plan is active replaces it immediately. The remaining time and remaining allowances of the old plan (caption minutes, translation credits, Auto Trim minutes) are forfeited and non-refundable. Before you pay, we show you exactly what you would give up and you must explicitly confirm. Purchased Auto Trim packs are never forfeited. The new plan starts with its full, fresh allowances.
Cancelling a subscription: your plan stays fully active until the end of the period you already paid for; you are not charged again. There are no partial refunds for unused time or allowances.
Translation credits: 1 credit corresponds to 1 minute of AI transliteration or translation, measured by the audio duration processed. Each plan includes credits equal to its caption minutes.
If a paid export or feature fails due to a fault on our side, contact us — we make it right (re-run, credit, or refund at our discretion, honestly applied).

5. Acceptable use

Don't use FluxoCut to produce content that is illegal, or to attempt to breach, overload, reverse-engineer or abuse the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

5a. Fonts you upload

Custom fonts are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to or hosted by us. You are solely responsible for holding a valid license for any font you upload and for the content you render with it — including commercial-use rights for videos you publish. FluxoCut accepts no liability for font licensing violations. Google Fonts are served by Google under their own open licenses.

6. Service reality

FluxoCut is provided "as is". We work hard on reliability, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Speech recognition, transliteration, translation and auto-edit are performed by third-party AI providers and can be imperfect or incomplete — occasionally a transcription stops before the end of a clip. The editor tells you when coverage looks short and gives you tools to review, correct, and regenerate any part before export; the output you publish is always yours to check. Exports render entirely on your device; export duration and quality depend on your hardware. Our liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

7. Changes

We'll update these terms as the product grows (the date above changes). Material changes are announced in-app. Continuing to use FluxoCut after a change means you accept it.

8. Contact & jurisdiction

Questions: support@fluxocut.com. These terms are governed by the laws of India; subject to Section 13, disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Telangana, India. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us and allow 30 days to resolve the issue informally.

9. International purchases (Merchant of Record)

Purchases made in USD are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as the Merchant of Record: for those transactions Dodo is the seller of record, handles payment processing, applicable taxes (such as VAT/sales tax) and payment-related compliance, and its own terms apply to the payment itself. Purchases made in INR are processed by Razorpay. In both cases we never see or store your card details, and your FluxoCut plan, allowances and these Terms govern the service you receive.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

FluxoCut is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Speech recognition and AI features are probabilistic: we do not warrant that transcripts, translations or automatic cuts will be accurate, complete or uninterrupted, and you are responsible for reviewing output before publishing it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data or goodwill; and (b) our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid to FluxoCut in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or ₹1,000 / USD 12 if you paid nothing). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; where that is the case, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted.

12. Indemnity & acceptable content

You are responsible for the media you process and represent that you hold the necessary rights to it. You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content or your breach of these terms. We may suspend accounts used for unlawful content or to attack the service.

13. Regional consumer terms

EU/UK consumers: by purchasing a digital service that is delivered immediately, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day withdrawal right once the service (e.g. caption minutes) has begun; this does not affect refunds for failed or duplicate charges, or your non-waivable statutory rights, including mandatory local consumer protections that may apply notwithstanding Section 8. Age: you must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where required, e.g. in parts of the EEA) or have parental consent to use FluxoCut.
