• 5 new caption templates: Punch Line (your sentence builds up, its final word pops big and gold), Word Stairs (a staircase word-by-word layout with an animation dropdown), Word Scatter (a word-cloud look with one standout word), Slide Glow (words slide in — choose By Word, By Letter, or Altogether — with one word glowing yellow/green/blue), and Letter Slide (every letter slides in on its own).
• New Shine effect: a continuous light sweep across your caption text, for the whole line or just your highlighted words — color, speed, width and intensity are all adjustable.
• Select specific words in the left panel and style just those words — font, color, glow, shine and uppercase — independent of the rest of the caption.
• Captions now center on screen by default instead of sitting near the bottom, unless a template calls for something else.
• Fixed: switching templates could leave an old template's size/position/spacing stuck on the new one, sometimes cutting text off — every template now reliably shows its own look the moment you pick it, and text can no longer overflow the frame.
• Fixed: "Blend with video" and "Shine" on highlighted words weren't showing on several templates (and, on some phones, not exporting at all) — both now work everywhere, in preview and in every export path.
• Click a video clip or a caption in the timeline and the right-hand panel jumps to the matching tab automatically.
• Template picker is bigger and easier to browse, with accurate live previews and your favorites pinned to the top.
